okay you know how people say that kids say the darnest things.
Well i have anincident thing to tell you about that proves that not only do kids but the sick say the darnest things
I was twelve and spending my summer vacation in Dominican Republic with my family. thats were i got sick and things started to go sour. my back and neck started to ache my head was pounding and i refused to eat. The last thing to go sour was my mood.
When it did I said something that my family still bring up even to this day.
Anyways the day was going fine when my cousins and grandma say there going out to see a movie. I vetoed the movie but i was still mad i would be left alone and in pain.
So before they left i screamed at my family
Well when you come back you'll find me dead with my tongue hanging out.
now i said this in spanish and everyone started to laugh . and laugh hard.
they thought it was so funny that i stormed away.
Now that i am twenty one i to laugh when they bring up that little saying i just blurted out when i was sick.
They still rib me about it
It comes around at least once a week.
so have you in anger or dispair or fear or hurt said anything so foolish that its a constant joke around the family table?
When I was a kid, I attended a field trip to see Disney on Ice with a group of other blind/VI kids, and my older sister went with me. We got to try out ice skating, and afterward, we met Mickey Mouse. When I shook hands with him, a teacher asked me something which I answered, and then she asked me if Mickey Mouse was real. I answered no to that, and apparently some people (including "Mickey Mouse") were sad at my answer. I didn't know I was supposed to answer differently and was just being honest, but I still feel slightly embarrassed about that now. Noone really talks about it, but I still tell others; it's kind of an amusing story for me when I think about it.
nah, I say what I mean, nothing like that, I was really dreamy when I was a kid, so nothing anyone can laugh at. my folks still like to bring up that I wanted to be a pastors wife or a missionary when I was younger though they think it's hilarious haha!
